Noona's Dalgona Bites (Korean-Style Honeycomb Pieces)
Dalgona is an old-fashioned Korean honey candy and popular throwback street treat. Thanks to Netflix’s Squid Game, we’re sure you’re all familiar with where the sweet treat came from. Our dalgona is similar to American honeycomb but made with a touch less baking soda and without any honey. The taste is less sweet, more bittersweet like dark caramel. It’s one of our favorite ice cream toppings. Goes with any flavor!
Ppopgi is also another Korean word for Dalgona. We use our dalgona to make our Turmeric Honeycomb ice cream, Dalgona Coffee ice cream and Squid-Inked Dalgona ice cream.
